Panthers at UMSL for rematch with Tritons
The Drury Panthers travel to the University of Missouri-St. Louis to take on the Tritons for the second time in 12 days.
 
Drury has won six straight including the Feb. 9 game against UMSL 84-68 at the O'Reilly Family Event Center. The Panthers are 15-10, 9-5 in the Great Lakes Valley Conference and are in fifth place in the league standings while UMSL is 18-7, 9-6 in the conference and in sixth place in the GLVC.
 
Thursday's game is a pivotal one in the conference race as each of the top six teams in the GLVC are head-to-head on the same night with Indianapolis at Bellarmine and Lewis at Southern Indiana.
 
Drury leads the all-time series against the Tritons 24-7 and has won the last 11 straight against UMSL. The Tritons last win against Drury came on March 2, 2012, in a 71-60 win over the Panthers in the GLVC quarterfinals.
 
Drury continues their road trip on Saturday when they travel to Maryville for a 3 p.m. game in St. Louis.
 
Notes To Know
--Drury is 9-0 this season when they have held the opposition to fewer than 60 points.
--The Panthers have gone 8-2 since Jan. 12 and have held their opponents to 64.6 points per game during that run.
--In Drury's last win, head coach Steve Hesser earned his 317th career win at DU to pass A.L. Weiser for the program's all-time lead in coaching wins. Hesser is 317-124 in 15 seasons as head coach.
