Top-ranked Lady Panthers host Maryville
The number one ranked and undefeated Drury Lady Panthers take on Maryville Thursday night at the O'Reilly Family Event Center.
 
Drury is 21-0, 11-0 in the Great Lakes Valley Conference, and is the top-ranked team in NCAA-II for the second consecutive week. The Lady Panthers are coming off of a 72-66 win over Truman State on Saturday in only their second game decided by fewer than 10 points this season.
 
Maryville is the GLVC's most improved team after going 7-17 and 4-14 in the conference last year, to 14-6 and 8-3 in the league entering tonight's game. The Saints have won seven of their last eight including a 72-64 win at home over Rockhurst on Saturday.
 
Drury is 15-3 against Maryville in the all-time series and 7-1 at home against the Saints. The Lady Panthers won the lone meeting last season 72-48 in St. Louis. 
 
Drury is home again on Saturday when they host the University of Missouri-St. Louis for Overflow the O' at 1 p.m.
 
Notes to Know:
-- Drury's 21-game winning streak is the second-longest in program history. The Lady Panthers won 30 straight in their national runner-up season in 2003-04 and have had a pair of 20-game winning streaks prior to this year.
-- Hailey Diestelkamp ranks 9th on Drury's all-time scoring list (1,306), 4th in career rebounds (746), and 4th in career steals (262).
-- Daejah Bernard's 132 assists this season is the fourth most by a Lady Panther in a single year. She is just 35 assists away from Drury's season record - 167 by Ja'Nell Jones in 2009-10. Bernard is also 5th at Drury in career assists with 353. 
-- Drury leads the nation in assists (20.9), steals (17.9), turnovers forced (31.4), and turnover margin (+14.8).
