Lady Panthers get Nova Southeastern in Elite Eight quarterfinals
The number one ranked Drury Lady Panthers take on Nova Southeastern in the quarterfinals of the NCAA-II Elite Eight on Tuesday at 5 pm (Central) in Columbus, Ohio.

Drury is 34-0 and won the Midwest Regional tournament with a 51-44 victory over 10th ranked Grand Valley State on March 18 in Springfield. Nova Southeastern is 21-11 and won the South Region championship on March 18 with an 84-63 win at 17th ranked Florida Southern.

The winner of Tuesday's game will advance to the national semifinals on Wednesday and will face the winner of #4 North Georgia and #5 Lubbock Christian at 7:30 pm (Central).

Tuesday's game with the Sharks is a rematch of their Dec. 16 contest in Fort Lauderdale, Florida that was an 86-63 win for the Lady Panthers. Drury led 44-33 at halftime and pulled away in the second half outscoring Nova Southeastern 23-15 in the final quarter. Paige Robinson led Drury with 25 points in the game going 8 for 12 from the field and 5 for 6 from three-point range. Hailey Diestelkamp scored 19 points and added 9 rebounds. Claire McMahon had 17 points to lead the Sharks.

Notes to Know:
--Drury became the first team history of the GLVC to go undefeated in the league's regular season AND the conference tournament. The Lady Panthers completed an 18-0 league regular season, then won the GLVC tournament title on Sunday.
--Drury's 34-game winning streak is the longest in program history and topped the previous mark of 30 set by their national runner-up team in 2003-04.
--This season marks the Lady Panthers third straight 30-win season. Drury went 30-4 in 2016-17, 31-3 in '17-18, and is 31-0 so far this year. They are 93-5 in the last three years combined with a 52-2 GLVC record in that span.
--On March 9, Hailey Diestelkamp broke the program's all-time rebounding record previously held by Melanie Oliver (2007-10) with 812. Diestelkamp enters the Elite Eight with 850 career boards.
--Diestelkamp also broke Drury's single-season scoring record in the GLVC championship vs. Bellarmine. She passed Lindsay Ballweg's total of 644 set in 2009-10. Hailey has 714 points entering the tournament, and she needs 11 more rebounds to break the single-season mark in that category.
--Daejah Bernard entered the NCAA-II tournament leading the nation in steals and has 125 for the year. On Feb. 28, she set a program record for assists in a single season and comes into the Elite Eight with 200.
