Unbeaten Lady Panthers start postseason Friday vs McKendree
The Drury Lady Panthers, ranked number one in the NCAA-II coaches' poll and the in the Midwest Region, open play in the GLVC Tournament with a quarterfinal game against eighth-seeded McKendree on Friday at 6 pm at the Vadalabene Center in Edwardsville, Ill.

Drury is 28-0 and the top seed in the tournament after going 18-0 in the league. McKendree is 13-14 and went 7-11 in the GLVC regular season.

The Lady Panthers have never lost to the Bearcats owning an 8-0 record against McKendree and won the earlier meeting this season 72-55 on Jan. 17 in Lebanon, Illinois.

Lady Panthers in the GLVC Tournament
The Lady Panthers are 21-8 all-time in the GLVC tournament with five championships including the last two titles, and they have won three championships in the last four years. Drury is 8-4 in program history in the quarterfinals, 7-1 in the semifinal round, and 5-2 in the championship game. The Lady Panthers won the GLVC title in 2018, 2017, 2015, 2010, and 2008.

Notes to Know
--No team in the history of the GLVC has ever gone undefeated in the league's regular season AND won the conference tournament. Lewis went 18-0 in 2015-16 in the GLVC semifinals, and Drury lost the league championship game to Northern Kentucky after going 19-0 in 2005-06.
--Drury's 28-game winning streak is the second-longest in program history. The Lady Panthers won 30 straight in their national runner-up season in 2003-04.
--Drury completed their first undefeated regular season and their fourth perfect conference season. DU went 19-0 in their first year in the GLVC in 2006 and went 12-0 in the Heartland Conference in 2005 and 2004.

Hailey Diestelkamp enters the tournament with 587 points for the year - second-most ever in a Drury single-season. Lindsay Ballweg holds Drury's season-record with 644 points in the 2009-10 season.
--Diestelkamp is also 14 rebounds away from breaking the Lady Panthers all-time record. Her 799 boards are the third-best total ever at DU behind only Amanda Newton (2002-06) with 793 and Melanie Oliver (2007-10) with 812. Â

Daejah Bernard enters the postseason leading the nation in steals with 107, and on Feb. 28, she set a program record for assists in a single season and comes into the tournament with 174.

Hailey Diestelkamp had 13 points and eight boards. DU's defense forced 35 McKendree turnovers. The same two teams met in last year's GLVC quarterfinals with Drury winning 86-54.
