MONTREAL, Que.— The Drury Lady Panthers completed their four-game exhibition series in Canada with their fourth straight win in a 94-56 victory over the University of Montreal at Quebec on Wednesday at Centre Sportif in Montreal.
 
Drury had their best shooting game of the series as they shot 61 percent from the field going 37 for 60 and they drained 7 of 12 three-point attempts from the international three-point distance of 22 feet.
 
Senior forward Hailey Diestelkamp led the Lady Panthers with 15 points. The Owensville, Missouri native went 5 for 6 from the floor, hit her only three-point attempt and added five steals in 12 minutes of playing time.
 
Junior guard Payton Richards went 4 for 5 from behind the three-point line to finish with 12 points and sophomore center Adene Edwards added 10 points.
 
Once again, all 15 Drury players on their Canadian-tour roster saw playing time with minutes nearly evenly distributed in Wednesday's game. Emily Parker did not make the trip due to a previously scheduled missions trip.
 
Veronique Boivin led the Citadens with 18 points. UMAQ, a public university with an enrollment of more than 43,000, shot 40 percent in the game going 21 for 53 while connecting on only 4 of their 13 three-point attempts.
 
The Lady Panthers completed their exhibition series in a Canada with a 4-0 record. Drury opened the trip with a 69-62 win over Carleton University on Sunday, then defeated the same school 73-65 a day later. On Tuesday, the Lady Panthers downed Concordia (Que.) 95-70. The NCAA allows teams to play out of the country once every four years. Drury's team will return to the United States later this week and classes for the fall semester begin Monday.
