Top-Ranked Lady Panthers start road stretch at Maryville
The number one ranked Drury Lady Panthers play the first of five straight road games on Thursday at Maryville. Tipoff is at 5:15 pm in St. Louis, Missouri.
 
The Lady Panthers are 14-0, 5-0 in the Great Lakes Valley Conference and are ranked number one in the NCAA-II coaches' poll for an eighth straight week.
 
Maryville is 8-4, 3-2 in the GLVC, and is coming off of a one-point loss at Truman State last Saturday, 78-77. Before Saturday's loss, the Saints had won six of their last seven games.
 
Drury forward Hailey Diestlelkamp is coming off of a 37-point game against Lindenwood on Saturday and was named the GLVC Player of the Week after averaging 25.5 points, 6.5 rebounds, and shooting .740 from the floor. Diestelkamp enters the week averaging 17.3 points and ranks fifth in the league in scoring.
 
Maryville's Mary Barton is the conference's leading scorer. The St. Louis native is averaging 21.9 points and has hit a league-leading 40 three-pointers.
 
Following Thursday's game, the Lady Panthers travel to Rolla to take on Missouri S&T Saturday at 1 pm.
