Panthers battle Southwest Baptist in round two of Highway 13 Catfight
The Drury Panthers meet Southwest Baptist for round two of this season's Highway 13 Catfight on Monday in Bolivar. Tipoff is at 7:30 pm.

Drury has won three straight and is 11-4 with 4-3 record in the Great Lakes Valley Conference. The Panthers are coming off of an 86-67 win at Missouri S&T on Saturday.

Southwest Baptist is 12-3 and 5-2 in the GLVC. The Bearcats have won their last two games and, on Saturday, picked up an 89-72 win at Maryville.

Drury won the previous meeting against SBU winning 76-70 at the O'Reilly Family Event Center on Dec. 3. The Panthers led by 11 in the first half but had that margin cut to a 39-32 advantage by intermission. The Bearcats pulled within one, 39-38, in the first two minutes of the second half, but Drury held off SBU down the stretch to win by six.

The Panthers play their fourth straight road game in their next contest when they travel to Indianapolis for a 6:30 pm (CST) game on Thursday.

Getting defensive
Drury has allowed 72 points or fewer in each of their last four games. The Panthers have gone 3-1 in that span with the only loss to UMSL, 72-70. Drury is 6-0 this season when allowing 69 points or less. The Panthers held Missouri S&T to 67 points on Saturday and allowed a season-low shooting percentage of 32 percent as the Miners were 17 for 54 from the field.

Drury guard
Cal Hartley entered the week leading NCAA-II in three-point percentage. The junior from Benton, Kansas, is shooting .535 from beyond the arc has hit 46 of his 86 attempts. His 46 three-pointers rank third-best in the GLVC.
