Top-Ranked Lady Panthers back at home to face Missouri S&T
The Drury Lady Panthers are back at home for the first time since Jan. 11 when they host Missouri S&T for a 5:45 pm game on Thursday at the O'Reilly Family Event Center.
Â
Drury is ranked number one in NCAA-II with a 19-0 record and a 10-0 mark in the Great Lakes Valley Conference. The Lady Panthers are coming off of an 82-74 win at Bellarmine on Saturday, the site of their last regular season and conference loss two years ago.
Â
Missouri S&T is 7-10 and 3-7 in the GLVC. The Lady Miners lost at William Jewell 88-82 on Saturday in their last outing.
Â
DU forward
Hailey Diestelkamp could become the first player in program history to reach 2,000 career points and 1,000 career rebounds in Thursday's game. The senior needs 23 points to reach 2,000 and is just three rebounds away from 1,000 boards in her career. She would be the first active player in NCAA-II to reach those milestones this season and has been only one of two players nationally on the watch-list for those marks this year.Â
Â
After Thursday's game, Drury is back at home on Saturday as they host Maryville at 1 pm in the O'Reilly Family Event Center.
