Panthers conclude road trip at McKendree
Drury concludes their first road trip of the season within the Great Lakes Valley Conference at McKendree on Saturday at 3 pm in Lebanon, Illinois.
 
The Panthers are 8-2, 1-1 in the GLVC, and entered the week tied for 25th in the NCAA-II coaches' poll. Drury will be looking to bounce back from an 86-82 loss at 12th ranked Southern Indiana on Thursday.
 
McKendree is 6-4 and 1-1 in the league. The Bearcats lost at home to Southwest Baptist 76-68 on Thursday but won their previous league contest at home to Southern Indiana 68-64.
 
Drury leads the all-time series 12-5 and has won four of the five meetings since McKendree joined the GLVC. The Panthers won at McKendree 72-60 last year season's lone encounter on Jan. 17.
 
Drury returns home after Saturday's game and hosts Missouri-St. Louis on Thursday at 7:45 pm in the O'Reilly Family Event Center.
 
Garrison joins 1,000-point club
Drury guard Conley Garrison surpassed 1,000 career points on Thursday, becoming the 44th player in program history to reach the milestone. The junior from Bolivar had 19 points in Thursday's game at Southern Indiana and enters Saturday's contest with 1,003 points in his college career.
 
Last three decided late
Each of Drury's last three games have been decided by five points or less. The Panthers lost on Thursday at Southern Indiana by four, 86-82. Prior to that game, Drury earned a two-point win in overtime over Pittsburg State 94-92 in Las Vegas and lost the day before by five to Rollins, 72-67.
