Lady Panthers start road trip at Rockhurst
The Drury Lady Panthers start a two-game road trip in the Kansas City area on Thursday when they take on Rockhurst at 5:30 pm at Mason-Halpin Field House.
 
Drury is 23-0, 14-0 in the Great Lakes Valley Conference, and ranked number one in the nation for the 12th consecutive week in the NCAA-II coaches' poll.
 
Rockhurst is 9-13 and 3-11 in the GLVC. The Hawks are coming off of a 77-66 loss to Bellarmine last Saturday and have dropped five straight.
 
The Lady Panthers enter this week coming off of a four-game homestand that saw them average 109.3 points per game. Drury posted a team-record 116 points on Jan. 30 against Missouri S&T, followed that with a 93-point performance two days later against Maryville, and they scored 114 in back-to-back games last week with games against Lewis and Illinois Springfield.
 
Drury has only lost to Rockhurst only once in program history and is 36-1 all-time against the Hawks. Their only loss to Rockhurst came in the first-ever meeting between the two teams in a 72-69 overtime defeat on Jan. 27, 2001.
 
The Lady Panthers road trip continues on Saturday as Drury takes on William Jewell for a 1 pm game in Liberty.
