ST. LOUIS, Mo.– Drury ended the regular season on Sunday with losses to Maryville and Lindenwood, but heavyweight Jared Rennick went 2-0 on the day winning both matches by Fall. The Panthers lost at Maryville 37-9, then dropped a 36-8 decision to Lindenwood at Moloney Arena in St. Louis.
 
Rennick, ranked sixth in NCAA-II in the heavyweight class, defeated Maryville's Logan Radik by Fall in 4:13, then followed with a win by Fall in 6:28 over Tage McNutt of Lindenwood.
 
Peter Kuster went 1-1 on the day at 141 pounds. The sophomore from Jefferson City defeated Alex Waggoner of Maryville 7-1, then dropped an 8-3 decision to Lindenwood's Colby Smith.
 
Ben Stahlman also went 1-1 as the 157-pounder got a win in the Lindenwood dual 2-1 over Nate Trepanier. Stahlman took a 5-2 loss against Maryville's Tanner Sparks.
 
"We finished out the regular season and look forward to the Regional Championships," said Drury head coach James Reynolds. "Rennick was dominant today, and we had learning experiences to move forward as a team."
 
Drury heads to the NCAA-II Super Regional IV hosted by Fort Hays State on March 1 in Hays, Kansas.
