Panthers host Truman State
The Drury Panthers carry a six-game winning streak into their match-up with Truman State on Thursday at the O'Reilly Family Event Center.
 
Drury is 17-7, 10-6 in the Great Lakes Valley Conference, and is coming off of an 89-59 win at William Jewell on Saturday. Drury is ranked eighth in the GLVC's point rating system that is used to determine the eight-team conference tournament field as well as seeding for the postseason.
 
Truman State owns the best record in the GLVC at 13-3, and they are 17-7 overall. The Bulldogs lost at the buzzer at Indianapolis on Saturday, 83-82, and each of their last four games has been decided by two points or less. Truman won at Bellarmine 61-60 last Thursday, upset 13th ranked Missouri-St. Louis 72-71 on Feb. 8, and on Feb. 6 edged Lindenwood 72-70. The Bulldogs are ranked second in the GLVC's point rating system behind Indianapolis.
 
Drury's Conley Garrison enters the game ranked 23rd on Drury's all-time scoring list. The junior from Bolivar has 1,264 career points and passed Brandon Lockhart (2009-13) and Hollis Miller (1972-75) last weekend on the all-time scoring chart. 
 
The Panthers lead the all-time series against Truman State 11-7 and has won three of the last four meetings.
 
Drury travels to Quincy on Saturday with a 3 pm tipoff in Quincy, Illinois.
