Lady Panthers set for showdown vs. Truman St.
Thursday's game is a showdown between the teams with the two best records in the Great Lakes Valley Conference as the number one ranked Lady Panthers host Truman State.
 
Drury is 25-0, 16-0 in the GLVC while Truman State is 17-6, and their 13-3 league record is the second-best mark in the conference. The Bulldogs are in third place in the GLVC's point rating system that is used to determine the conference tournament field and seeding.
 
Hailey Diestelkamp is coming off of a game where she set the program's single-game scoring record with 43 points at William Jewell on Saturday. She was the NCAA-II and GLVC Player of the Week averaging 32 points and 10 rebounds in two games last week.
 
Daejah Bernard also tied a Drury single-game record for assists as she dished out 11 on Saturday. She matched the total set by Addy Roller (2-25-16), Ja'Nell Jones (12-18-09), and Courtney Brent (1-13-01).
 
Drury is on the road for their next game as they travel to Quincy for a 1 pm game on Saturday in Quincy, Illinois.
