Panthers travel to Quincy
Winners of seven straight, the Drury Panthers travel to Quincy for a 3 pm game Saturday in Quincy, Illinois.
 
Drury is 18-7, 11-6 in the Great Lakes Valley Conference, and coming off of a 71-52 win over Truman State on Thursday in Springfield. The Panthers have won seven in a row dating back to a Jan. 30 victory over Missouri S&T, 81-62.  Drury enters Saturday's game tied for seventh in the GLVC's Point Rating System.
 
Quincy is 12-13, and 6-11 in the GLVC. The Hawks lost 90-65 at Southwest Baptist on Thursday and have dropped four straight. Quincy is 11-3 at home this season. The Hawks are currently in 12th place in the league standings.
 
Drury is back at home for their final two games of the regular season next week. The Panthers host William Jewell at 7:45 pm on Thursday, then face Rockhurst on Feb. 29 for Senior Day and Homecoming at 3 pm.
 
Fabulous Februarys
Under head coach Steve Hesser, the Panthers have gone 97-22 (.815) in the month of February. This season, Drury is 6-0 this month, and last year DU went 7-0 in February. In Hesser's 16 years, the Panthers have had a losing record only once during this month (2009 when they were 1-6). Drury has gone unbeaten in February five times, including their national championship season of 2013.
