Lady Panthers resume schedule vs. Maryville, Sun., 1 pm
The Drury Lady Panthers, who went through all of 2020 without a loss, will play their first game in the 2021 calendar year on Sunday as they host Maryville.
 
Drury is 6-0 and is on the floor for the first time since Dec. 18 when they defeated Missouri S&T 97-74. The Lady Panthers have won 38 straight games dating back to March 27, 2019, and have won 56 straight at the O'Reilly Family Event Center.
 
Maryville is 2-2 and coming off of a loss at home on Thursday to Truman State 67-62. The Saints started the year 2-0 with an 83-71 win over Missouri S&T, followed by a 79-67 victory against Lindenwood. Maryville then fell at Illinois Springfield 58-55 on Dec. 5, their last game until their loss to Truman State last week.
 
Drury is 20-3 all-time against Maryville and won all three meetings against the Saints last year. The Lady Panthers have won 13 straight against Maryville. Drury's last loss to the Saints was on Feb. 9, 2013 when they fell 54-53 at home.
 
Sunday's game is the first of three games this week for Drury. The Lady Panthers are at home again on Wednesday when they host McKendree for a 5:30 pm game.

The Drury Lady Panthers have several significant winning streaks active going into their next game:
   -- 38 straight wins overall (dating back to March 27, 2019, in the NCAA-II semifinals vs. Lubbock Christian)
   -- 72 straight regular season wins (dating back to Jan. 18, 2018, at Bellarmine)
   -- 55 straight GLVC regular season wins (dating back to Jan. 18, 2018, at Bellarmine)
   -- 56 straight home wins, second-longest home-court winning streak in NCAA-II trailing only Lubbock Christian, who has won 78 in a row at home (DU's streak dates back to Nov. 26, 2016, in a 74-59 loss to #2 Emporia State)
   -- 27 straight road wins, the longest such streak in D-II and three ahead of Ashland's 22-game road winning streak
 
Paige Robinson moves to 15th on DU's all-time scoring list
Junior Paige Robinson became the 18th player in program history to top 1,000 points in her career when she reached the milestone on Nov. 29 as part of a 37-point game at Lindenwood. The Bethany, Illinois native carries 1,101 points into her next game and is 15th on Drury's all-time scoring list. She passed Alice Heinzler on the scoring chart on Dec. 12 at Rockhurst and she is 13 points behind Allison Regier for 14th all-time.
