Drury looks to bounce back at Missouri S&T on Thursday
The Drury Panthers will look to bounce back from an 81-46 loss on Tuesday at the hands of Southwest Baptist when they travel to Missouri S&T for a 7:30 pm on Thursday in Rolla.

Drury is 5-5 and tied for second place in the West Division of the Great Lakes Valley Conference. The Panthers have lost their last two games, both to division-leading SBU.

Missouri S&T is 3-10 and in fourth place in the West Division. The Miners are also coming off a loss to Southwest Baptist, having fallen 88-61 on Saturday in Bolivar. S&T has dropped their previous two games, with their last win coming on Jan. 16 in a 68-66 win at home over William Jewell.

The Miners handed the Panthers a loss in their earlier meeting this season with a 96-89 win at the O'Reilly Family Event Center on Dec. 18. The game was Drury's season opener, as issues with COVID-19 protocols prevented the team from playing their first game until late December. The contest was Missouri S&T's sixth game of the season. Drury leads the all-time series against the Miners 84-35.

Thursday's game is the second of three contests this week for the Panthers. Drury will travel to Maryville for a 3 pm game in St. Louis on Saturday. The Panthers have just started a stretch of nine games in 19 days running from Jan. 26 to Feb. 13.

Garrison poised to enter top 15 on Drury's all-time scoring list
Drury guard Conley Garrison is four points away from passing all-time Panthers great Gail Fredrick to move to 15th on the program's career scoring list. Garrison, a senior from Bolivar, Missouri, has tallied 1,556 points in his career and is one of only 18 players at Drury to have surpassed 1,500.

Gail Fredrick, the first-ever inductee into the Drury Sports Hall of Fame, played for the Panthers from 1965-69 and had a total of 1,559 points.
