Edmond, OK.– The Panthers suffered a loss in the first dual of the season against second-ranked Central Oklahoma in Edmond on Friday night.
The closest bout of the night was in the 141-pound division. Drury's
Peter Kuster, a junior from Jefferson City, was edged by Nate Keim, 4-2.
"We took some hard lessons from a top team tonight," said Drury head coach
James Reynolds. "This reinforces the efforts toward fundamentals in the room and will surely be a learning experience. We have a lot of talented young guys that needed this experience to propel them forward."
