Panthers continue road trip at McKendree
The Drury Panthers continue their three-game road trip this week at McKendree with a 7:30 pm contest in Lebanon, Illinois.

The Panthers are 8-8, in second place in the Great Lakes Valley Conference's West Division, and winners of three straight. Drury started their three-game road stint with an 82-64 win at Rockhurst on Tuesday.

McKendree is 6-5 and is the second-place team in the GLVC-East. The Bearcats have won their last two games, having won on Saturday at Southwest Baptist, 77-64, and McKendree earned a 69-65 victory at Rockhurst on Feb. 4. Their home game against Southwest Baptist scheduled for Tuesday was postponed by hazardous weather conditions. McKendree has had four games postponed or canceled since Jan. 9.

Thursday's game is the second meeting between the two teams this season. The Panthers won an overtime thriller over McKendree on Jan. 6, 92-88.
Conley Garrison scored a season-high 34 points as Drury outscored the Bearcats 17-13 in the overtime period to pick up the win at the O'Reilly Family Event Center. Drury leads the all-time series against McKendree 12-6.Â

The Panthers wrap up their three-game week on Saturday at Southern Indiana. Saturday's game time was changed to a 1 pm tipoff.

Malek's momentum

Malek Davis is coming off of a career-high 30-point performance at Rockhurst on Tuesday. The sophomore from St. Louis went 11 for 16 from the field and 8 for 12 from three-point range.

Davis has reached double-figures in scoring in five straight games and has topped his season or career-high in scoring in four of those. Malek is averaging 18.4 points in his last five contests.

Conley Garrison moves to 11th on Drury's all-time scoring list
Drury guard
Conley Garrison became the 12th player in Drury history to top 1,600 career points when he reached the milestone on Feb. 2 at William Jewell. The Bolivar native also moved up to 11th in the Panthers all-time scoring list passing Roland Schultz (1967-71) on Feb. 4 as part of a 24 point game against Lindenwood. Garrison is 94 points away from cracking Drury's top 10 on the all-time scoring list.Â
