Lady Panthers at Southern Indiana in battle of division leaders
Drury visits Southern Indiana on Saturday in a battle of division leaders in the Great Lakes Valley Conference.

The Lady Panthers, ranked fourth in NCAA-II, lead West Division with a 12-1 record. Drury is coming off of a 91-76 win at McKendree on Thursday.

Southern Indiana is 11-4 and on top in the East Division. The Screaming Eagles have been idle since last Saturday when they won at Rockhurst, 96-86, in overtime. The win Saturday snapped a three-game losing streak as they had previously dropped contests to Truman State (73-67), at Quincy (69-61), and at William Jewell (70-58).

Drury has only lost three conference games in the last four-and-a-half years, but one of those was at Southern Indiana. The Screaming Eagles defeated Drury on Feb. 4, 2017, 84-78. The Lady Panthers have won four straight against USI since and are 17-4 all-time against the Screaming Eagles.

The Lady Panthers are 7-0 on the road this season and have won 30 straight road games dating back to March 12, 2018, when they lost at Ashland in the NCAA-II Regional Championship game.

After Saturday's game, Drury will host Indianapolis on Thursday for a 5:30 pm game in the O'Reilly Family Event Center. The Lady Panthers game against Truman State on Tuesday at 4 pm was canceled due to a positive COVID-19 case within the Bulldogs program. The game will not be made up.

She is in her 12th year overall as a collegiate head coach. Eagan went 111-62 in six years at her alma mater, Truman State. She posted a 48-17 record at St. Ambrose from 2005-07 and 28-63 from 201013 at Ashford.
