Lady Panthers aim to bounce back from first loss in two years
The number one ranked Drury Lady Panthers will enter Thursday's game in a situation they have not been in during the last two seasons - coming off of a loss.

Drury will play Lindenwood on Thursday at 5:30 pm in the O'Reilly Family Event Center, 48 hours after having their 42-game winning streak snapped. The Lady Panthers are 10-1 after falling to Rockhurst 75-69 on Tuesday. It was Drury's first loss since the NCAA-II semifinals on March 27, 2019, when they lost to eventual national champion Lubbock Christian, 75-69. The Lady Panthers hadn't lost in the regular season since Jan. 18, 2018, when they fell at Bellarmine.

Lindenwood is 7-4 and is in second place in the GLVC's Central Division. The Lions defeated Illinois Springfield 83-74 on Tuesday in St. Charles. Lindenwood got 25 points from Ellen McCorkle and 24 from Devin Fuhring.

In addition to all of the winning streaks that were broken, Drury also had a home court win streak of 58 straight that was snapped on Tuesday. The Lady Panthers last lost at the O' on Nov. 26, 2016, when Emporia State, ranked second in NCAA-II at the time, won 74-59 in Springfield.

The Lady Panthers are 5-0 all-time against Lindenwood. Drury won the earlier meeting this year, 110-69, on Nov. 29 in St. Charles. Paige Robinson scored a career-high 37 points in that game as the Lady Panthers pulled away late, outscoring the Lions 33-6 in the fourth quarter.

Drury has had their game Saturday against Missouri-St. Louis postponed due to a positive COVID-19 test within the Tritons program. The Lady Panthers' next scheduled game is Feb. 11 at McKendree.

Robinson closes on DU's top 10 all-time scoring list
Drury guard Paige Robinson is 42 points away from cracking Drury's top 10 all-time scoring list. The junior from Bethany, Illinois, has 1,188 points and is 41 away from matching the total of Heather Harman (2014-18) for 10th on Drury's career points list.
