LEBANON, Ill.– Drury wrestlers Peter Kuster and Jared Rennick remained undefeated with wins on Saturday as the Panthers ended their regular season with a 28-9 loss at fifth-ranked McKendree.

Drury was also scheduled to compete against Davenport on Saturday, but that dual was canceled.

Peter Kuster, ranked fifth nationally at 141 pounds, put Drury on the board in the dual with a 10-5 win over Joey Semerad. Kuster improved to 5-0 on the season.

Freshman Trevor Christian helped pull the Panthers to within one point of the lead in the dual as the freshman from Lebanon defeated Frankie Falotico 4-2 in the 149-pound bout.

Drury was then edged in the next two rounds helping the Bearcats pull ahead. McKendree's Nate Smalling, ranked eighth nationally in the 157-pound division, squeaked past Ben Stahlman 6-5, then Cory Peterson of the Bearcats got past Will Kuster 11-8 at 165 pounds.

Jared Rennick ended the dual on a positive note for Drury as the heavyweight, ranked third in NCAA-II, stayed undefeated, and moved to 5-0 as the Washington, Missouri native defeated Ian Kuehl 3-2.

Saturday's dual ended the regular season for the Panthers, and Drury returns to action on Feb. 27 in the NCAA-II Super Regional in Edmond, Oklahoma.
