Panthers start three-game road trip at Rockhurst
The Drury Panthers start a three-game week, with all three games on the road, on Tuesday at Rockhurst.

Drury is 7-8 and has won their last two games. On Saturday, the Panthers defeated Missouri-St. Louis 78-66. Drury is in third place in the GLVC's West Division but is a half-game behind Rockhurst for second.

Rockhurst is 8-8 and is coming off of a home loss to Southern Indiana 67-57 on Saturday. The Hawks have lost their last two games after having won four straight from Jan. 19-30.

Tuesday's game is a rematch of a contest won by Drury earlier this season on Jan. 16. The Panthers defeated Rockhurst at home 91-81. Jason Montgomery scored 28 points, and Conley Garrison had 26 as Drury shot 61 percent from the field in the game connecting on 28 of 46 shots.

The Panthers lead the all-time series against Rockhurst 75-45 in one of the region's oldest collegiate basketball rivalries. The series dates back nearly a century when both programs were in the NAIA. Drury has won 18 of the last 19 meetings since 2011.

Following Tuesday's game, the Panthers travel to McKendree for a 7:30 pm game on Thursday night in Lebanon, Ill. Drury continues the road trip on Saturday with a 3 pm game at Southern Indiana.

Garrison named GLVC Player of the Week
Drury guard Conley Garrison was named the Player of the Week in the Great Lakes Valley Conference for his performance in three games last week. Conley Garrison averaged 22 points as the Panthers went 2-1.

The senior from Bolivar also averaged 7.7 rebounds, 6.3 assists, and 3.7 steals. Garrison made 15 of his 16 free-throw attempts and shot .360 from three-point range, hitting 9 of his 25 tries from behind the arc.

He had 24 points and a career-high 13 rebounds against Lindenwood on Thursday. In Saturday's win over Missouri-St. Louis, Garrison scored 19 of his 21 points in the second half, and he added eight assists in the Panthers' 78-66 victory over the Tritons. He started the week with 21 points, six rebounds, six assists, and four steals at William Jewell on Tuesday.

The award marks the fourth time Garrison has won the league's weekly award during his career and the second time this season he has been selected. He won honors earlier this year on Dec. 21, and he previously earned the award on Dec. 11, 2019, and Dec. 10, 2018.
