SPRINGFIELD, Mo.– Drury improved to 2-1 in the Great Lakes Valley Conference with a 33-17 win over Ouachita Baptist at Weiser Gym in Springfield on Wednesday night.
 
The Tigers started with a win at 125 pounds, but after a forfeit win at 133, the Panthers got back-to-back wins by Fall in the next two rounds. Peter Kuster pinned Hudson Herring in 2:51; then Sam Schultz won at 149 pounds with a win by Fall against Marcel Molu in 1:41.
 
Will Kuster, competing at 165, got a Major Decision over Adrian Salazar-Rivera, 15-4. Ethan Smith won by Fall at 3:25 over Brady Marple at 174 pounds, and Kolby Estes won by Technical Fall at 5:00 with a 17-2 win over Will Martin in the 184-pound division.
 
"We like those bonus-point wins and that's very telling when you're talking about what really matters and that's the performance of our individual guys," said Drury head coach James Reynolds. "It did feel really good in that this was our last home dual of the season and we were able to come away with a win and a bunch of Falls."
 
Drury returns to action on Sunday with three duals at Maryville. The Panthers take on the Saints at 10 am, then Lindenwood at noon, and they face Davenport at 2 pm.
