Lady Panthers host Miners for Overflow the O'
The Drury Lady Panthers take on Missouri S&T in their annual Overflow the O' game at the O'Reilly Family Event Center on Saturday. Tipoff is at 1 pm.
 
Drury is ranked fourth in NCAA-II and is 20-2 with a 10-1 mark in the Great Lakes Valley Conference. The Lady Panthers are coming off of a 75-49 win over Maryville on Thursday and are 10-0 at home this season.
 
Missouri S&T is 7-10 and 4-7 in the GLVC. The Miners were idle on Thursday but saw action on Monday and were edged at home by Indianapolis 76-74. S&T is in fourth place in the GLVC-West entering Saturday's game.
 
Saturday's contest is the second meeting of the season between the two teams. Drury won at Missouri S&T on Nov. 29, 90-74, in Rolla. The Lady Panthers raced out to a 28-10 after one quarter and led by as much as 22 in the second half. Paige Robinson, who will miss Saturday's game with an injury, led Drury with 32 points, while Alana Findley had 20 points and 10 rebounds for the Lady Panthers. Laura Rodriguez had 20 points to lead Missouri S&T.
 
Drury leads the all-time series against Missouri S&T 32-3 and has won 18 straight games against the Miners.
 
About the Miners
Prior to Monday's two-point loss to Indianapolis, Missouri S&T had won three of their last four games, including a 78-56 win over Rockhurst on Jan. 22.
 
Laura Rodriguez leads Missouri S&T averaging 14.6 points, the eighth-best mark in the GLVC, while Alex Kerr provides the Miners with 12.3 points and 5.9 rebounds per game and is shooting .561 from the field. Katelynne Roberts leads the conference in blocked shots averaging 1.7, and Kerr is second with 1.4.
 
League Leaders
Drury leads the GLVC in scoring margin (+18.8), scoring (81), three-point shooting (.374), steals (13.3), and turnover margin (+10.7).
 
Drury's Alana Findley ranks 7th in the GLVC in scoring (14.9), 3rd in rebounding (8.0), 7th in field goal percentage (.515), and is tied for 3rd in steals (2.1). Kaylee DaMitz is 14th in scoring (13.7), 6th in assists (3.3), 4th in free throw percentage (.863), and is 2nd in steals (2.5).
 
Roster Update
As of Friday, the Lady Panthers are expected to be without Paige Robinson (hand/wrist), Kate Gilbert (leg). Drury was without five players for their first two games of the week following the holiday break, and has played with at least two starters out for their previous seven games. Drury has not yet had a game postponed or canceled this season.

The Lady Panthers will be on the road next week when they travel to Missouri-St. Louis for a 5:30 pm game on Thursday, then to Lindenwood for a 1 pm contest on Saturday in St. Charles, Missouri.
