Drury travels to Rogers State in first regular season road test
The Drury Panthers get their first road test of the regular season on Wednesday as they travel to Claremore, Oklahoma to take on Rogers State.

Drury is off to a 2-0 start after a pair of home wins in the Greenstay Inn & Suites Tipoff Classic. The Panthers opened the year with an 80-61 win over Northwood on Friday, then followed with a 92-78 victory against Lake Superior State on Saturday.

DU shot a combined 53 percent from the field in the two games going 60 for 113. The Panthers have also made 24 three-pointers in two games and are shooting 46 percent from behind the arc.

Riley Naeger leads Drury in two games averaging 16 points. The junior from Festus, Missouri is coming off of a career-high 24-point game and went 8 for 8 from the field in Saturday's win over Lake Superior State. Naeger is 12 for 13 from the floor through two games this season.

Rogers State is 1-1 after hosting their Regional Classic last weekend. The Hillcats lost their opener in a 72-62 loss to Southwest Minnesota State on Friday, but bounced back on Saturday with a 77-73 win against Concordia-St. Paul.

Joey Saracco leads Rogers State averaging 15 points, while Chris Whitaker puts up 13.5 per game. Kofi Hamilton averaged 12 rebounds in the Hillcats' two games last week.

After Wednesday's game, the Panthers return home for two games next week in the DoubleTree Thanksgiving Classic. Drury hosts Southwestern Oklahoma State on Tuesday at 7:45 pm, then Arkansas Tech on Wednesday at 7:45 pm. The event also includes games with William Jewell against Arkansas Tech on Tuesday at 3:15 pm, and the Cardinals vs. SWOU on Wednesday at 3:15 pm.
