Panthers host Missouri S&T in GLVC Opener
The Drury Panthers open their Great Lakes Valley Conference schedule at home on Monday as they host Missouri S&T for a 7:45 pm tipoff in the O'Reilly Family Event Center.
 
Drury is 2-3 and will look to snap a three-game losing streak. The Panthers lost at home twice last week, falling to Southwestern Oklahoma State 85-65 on Tuesday, then to Arkansas Tech 68-61 on Wednesday.
 
Missouri S&T is 4-1 and lost for the first time this season on Saturday in their conference opener, dropping a 78-75 decision at Southwest Baptist. The MIners started the season with two wins in the O', going 2-0 in the Greenstay Inn & Suites Tipoff Classic Nov. 11-12. They downed Lake Superior State 90-89 in overtime in their season opener, then defeated Northwood 78-43 on Nov. 12.
 
After Monday's game, Drury is on the road for two conference games. The Panthers are at Missouri-St. Louis on Thursday for a 7:30 pm contest, then travel to Maryville on Saturday for a 1 pm tipoff.
 
All-Time Series vs. Missouri S&T
Drury is 85-37 all-time against Missouri S&T but has lost three of the last four meetings. The two teams split the season series last year, but the Miners won both games against Drury in the 2020-21 season. The Panthers are 21-1 at home against Missouri S&T since 1977-78.

Jumping into the GLVC 
The Panthers play their league opener on Monday as they start their 18th year in the GLVC. Drury has gone 208-101 since joining the conference in 2005-06 and has won seven regular season division championships and three league titles. The Panthers went 7-10 in the GLVC last year.
