Drury plays the second game of their two-game St. Louis road trip on Saturday at Maryville. Tipoff is 1 pm in Moloney Arena.

The Lady Panthers are 6-1, 2-0 in the Great Lakes Valley Conference, and ranked seventh in NCAA-II. Drury started their trip with a 72-55 win at Missouri-St. Louis on Thursday for the second win in league play. The Lady Panthers earned a 65-36 victory in a GLVC game at home on Monday against Missouri S&T.

Maryville is one of two teams in the league off to a 3-0 start in conference play. The Saints are 5-2 overall and won their third straight on Thursday with a 57-47 win at home over Southwest Baptist. Saturday's game will be Maryville's fourth game in eight days when they won at William Jewell 63-47 on Nov. 26.

Maryville's only two losses have been to number one ranked Grand Valley State, 78-57, on Nov. 12, and a two-point setback against Ohio Dominican, 72-70, on Nov. 21. In the preseason, the Saints knocked Division I St. Louis University, 78-70 on Nov. 3

After Thursday's game, the Lady Panthers travel to Maryville for a 1 pm game on Saturday.

Coaching Connections
Maryville's new head coach, Brita Hand, was on the coaching staff of current Lady Panthers head coach Amy Eagan during Eagan's tenure at Truman State. Hand was a player at Ashford (Iowa) when Eagan was the head coach at that program, then joined Eagan again as an assistant from 2015-18. For the last two years, Hand served as head coach at Briar Cliff (Iowa) in the NAIA.
