SPRINGFIELD, Mo.— Drury Athletics has teamed up with the Humane Society of Southwest Missouri for the "Drury Plays for Strays" promotional event when the Panthers and Lady Panthers take on Indianapolis at the O'Reilly Family Event Center on Saturday.
Fans that bring items ranging from pet food to liquid dishwater soap to be donated to the Humane Society of Southwest Missouri will receive a discounted ticket to the game. The Humane Society of Southwest Missouri will also have booths with items for sale and information on how to volunteer and assist the organization. There will also be an area to interact with puppies from the Humane Society and the group will also feature potential pets in a parade on the court at halftime of both games.
Those that bring an item to be donated to the Satruday game and purchase tickets that day for $9, a three-dollar discount from the regular price. A list of items can be
found here - or check the list above. Admission is good for both the men's and women's game that day. Children ages 12 and under are admitted free at all of Drury's regular season games.
The Drury Panthers play Indianapolis at 1 pm, with the women's game against the Greyhounds at 3 pm.
