Panthers back at home to face Hannibal-LaGrange
The Drury Panthers are back at home with a non-conference game against Hannibal-LaGrange at 6 pm in the O'Reilly Family Event Center.
 
Drury is 2-6 and coming off of a week that saw them go 0-3 but with two of three losses decided on the last possession. The Panthers fell at home at Missouri S&T 82-79 on Nov. 28, then dropped an 86-63 decision at Missouri-St. Louis on Thursday. Drury lost on a last-second free throw, 67-66, on Saturday at Maryville.
 
The Panthers have two players averaging in double-figures. Quenton Shelton is putting up 12.9 points per game, while Adam Moore is putting in 11.1 points per contest.
 
Hannibal-LaGrange is 5-4 and coming off of a conference loss to William Woods, 63-48, on Saturday in Fulton, Missouri. The Trojans have played two Great Lakes Valley Conference teams and one program one year removed from the GLVC. Hannibal-LaGrange lost at Lindenwood (now an NCAA-I program) 85-58 on Nov. 10, lost at Illinois Springfield 95-60 on Nov. 15, and fell at Quincy 88-51 on Nov. 16.
 
The Trojans play in the American Midwest Conference as part of the NAIA.
 
After Saturday's game, the Panthers are back home on Tuesday to host Hannibal-LaGrange at 6 pm in the O'Reilly Family Event Center.
 
All-Time Series
Drury is 5-0 all-time against Hannibal-LaGrange and is playing that program for the first time in 14 years. Drury won the last encounter, 89-59, on Dec. 13, 2008 in Weiser Gym. The Panthers also played the Trojans the year and won 72-48 in Weiser Gym on Dec. 15, 2007. The two teams have played one another in the O'Reilly Family Event Center.
