Panthers start stretch run on Monday vs. Maryville
Drury heads into the final week of the regular season with a home game on Monday against Maryville. The game was originally scheduled for Jan. 27 but was postponed due to COVID-19 issues on the Panthers roster.

Drury enters the week 8-14, 5-9 in the Great Lakes Valley Conference and in third place in the West Division. The Panthers are 13th overall in the league's Point Rating System.

Maryville is 10-15 and 4-13 in the conference. The Saints will be looking to snap a five-game losing streak and are coming off of a 60-56 loss at McKendree on Saturday.

Drury and Maryville split two meetings last year, with home court holding up in both contests. The Panthers won at home over the Saints 86-59 on Jan. 3, then Maryville won in St. Louis, 68-59 on Jan. 30.

The Panthers lead the all-time series 20-3. Last year's loss at Maryville snapped Drury's 14-game winning streak against the Saints. None of Drury's losses have come at home against the Saints since Maryville joined NCAA-II.

About the Saints
Maryville has lost five in a row, but only one loss in the streak has been by double-digits. The Saints lost to Lindenwood by 20 on Feb. 12, but their margins of defeat have been four (at McKendree and vs. Truman St.), seven (at Southern Indiana, and eight (vs. UMSL).

Ari Jackson leads Maryville averaging 12.4 points, and is an 83 percent free-throw shooter. Daniel Farris ranks third in the GLVC in assists averaging 4.1 per game.

At home in the O'
While Drury's record is under .500 for the year, the team owns a winning record on their home court. The Panthers are 6-4 at home this season and one win this week will clinch an above .500 mark in their own building for the year. Since the O'Reilly Family Event Center opened in 2010, Drury has never had a below .500 record at home and they are 142-25 on their home court since the O' opened. The Panthers play two more home games this season with games on Thursday and Saturday.

Next Up
This is the final week of the regular season and the Panthers are home for their final two games. Drury hosts Quincy on Thursday at 7:45 pm, then will take on Illinois Springfield on Saturday at 3 pm. Saturday is Senior Day, as the team will honor their graduating players before Saturday's game.
