Lady Panthers open GLVC Tournament at home vs. William Jewell
The Drury Lady Panthers open the Great Lakes Valley Conference Tournament with a first-round home game against William Jewell on Monday at 6 pm in the O'Reilly Family Event Center.

Drury is 27-4, 17-3 and the number two seed in the tournament. The Lady Panthers are tied for ninth in the latest NCAA-II coaches' poll and won the GLVC West Division during the regular season.

William Jewell seeded 15th and ended the regular season 1-24 with an 0-19 mark in the GLVC. The Cardinals have lost 17 straight games, with the skid starting at Drury on Jan. 2 in a 90-42 loss to the Lady Panthers.

Monday's game is the third meeting of the year between the two teams as Drury also won the game in Liberty, 77-53. Drury starting guard Paige Robinson did not play in either of the two regular season contests and starting point guard Kaylee DaMitz missed the Jan. 13 contest.

The winner of Monday's game will play the winner of seventh-seeded Rockhurst and number 10 seed Lindenwood in the GLVC Quarterfinals on Thursday, March 3 at 2:30 pm at First Community Arena in Edwardsville, Illinois.

About the Cardinals
William Jewell will be looking for their first win of the year against a GLVC opponent on Monday, as well as their first win of the season against an NCAA-II team. The Cardinals' lone victory came on Dec. 16 in a 64-53 win at home over Graceland (NAIA).
