Lady Panthers face UMSL in GLVC Semifinals
The Drury Lady Panthers will play Missouri-St. Louis in the Great Lakes Valley Conference semifinals on Saturday at 2:30 pm in First Community Arena in Edwardsville, Illinois.

Drury advanced through the quarterfinals with a 92-55 win on Thursday against seventh-seeded Rockhurst. The Lady Panthers are 29-4 and went 17-3 in the GLVC to land as the number two seed in the tournament. Drury is also ranked eighth nationally in this week's NCAA-II coaches' poll.

Missouri-St. Louis fought off Illinois Springfield 53-51 in Friday's quarterfinal round to reach the semi's. The Tritons are 23-4 and also went 17-3 in the league but finished third in the GLVC's Point Rating System to be the number three seed.

UMSL defeated Drury 75-65 on Feb. 4 in St. Louis in the lone meeting between the two teams this year. The Lady Panthers jumped out to a 14-2 lead in the game's opening moments, but Tritons rallied to lead at halftime, 35-33. UMSL put up 26 points in the fourth quarter to pull away and win by 10. The Tritons shot 57 percent from the field in that game and were 20 for 22 from the free throw line. Kiara Stewart and Faye Meissner both had 19 points for UMSL, while Alana Findley led Drury with 16.

Drury leads the all-time series 31-2. UMSL broke a 14-game losing streak against the Lady Panthers with their win over Drury on Feb. 4. Saturday's game is a rematch of last year's GLVC semifinals, won by Drury 75-62, on March 6, 2021.

Reaching 30
Drury needs one more win to reach 30 victories this season. Not counting last year's COVID-19 shortened season (Drury went 24-2), the Lady Panthers have won 30 or more games in four straight seasons and six different times in their program history (2020, 2019, 2018, 2017, 2006, 2004).

Lady Panthers seek sixth straight GLVC title
The Drury Lady Panthers have won eight GLVC championships, including the last five. Drury has won the league's tournament in 2021, 2020, 2019, 2018, 2017, 2015, 2010, and 2008. In the last seven years, the Lady Panthers have gone 21-1 in the league's postseason and are 32-8 in the GLVC Tournament all-time.

They are 12-4 in the league quarterfinals and have not lost in that round since 2014. The Lady Panthers are 10-1 in the semifinals and 8-2 in the championship game. Drury enters this postseason with 15 straight wins in the conference's postseason event.
