Drury and SBU renew rivalry in Bolivar
The Highway 13 Catfight renews on Thursday as the Drury Lady Panthers travel to Bolivar to face Southwest Baptist.
 
Drury is ranked number two in NCAA-II and carries an 18-1 record with an 11-0 mark in the Great Lakes Valley Conference. The Lady Panthers have won 14 straight games and are 6-0 on the road this season.
 
Southwest Baptist is 10-9 and 4-7 in the GLVC. The Bearcats have won their last two games with a 69-59 win at home over Rockhurst on Jan. 19, then a 68-53 victory at William Jewell on Saturday.
 
Thursday's game is the first of three straight on the road of Drury. The Lady Panthers travel to Rockhurst on Saturday for a 1 pm game in Kansas City, and will take on Missouri S&T in Rolla on Feb. 2.
 
Findley on career charts
Drury forward Alana Findley ranks 8th all-time at Drury in rebounds with 546 and is 49 away from passing Sanayika Sheild. Findley passed the 1,000 point mark in her career on Jan. 14 at Illinois Springfield and is 20th on Drury's all-time scoring list with 1,045 points. She needs 11 points to match Ja'Nell Jones (2007-11) for 19th all-time. Findley also had 183 steals, the 11th best career total in Drury history. She needs six more to pass Melanie Oliver (2007-10) to move to 10th all-time.

Drury leads the all-time series against Southwest Baptist 14-2 and the Lady Panthers have won the last six meetings. The last win for the Bearcats against Drury came on Nov. 14, 2017 in a 93-82 win in Bolivar before SBU joined the GLVC.

Drury number two in latest NCAA-II poll 
The Drury Lady Panthers moved up to a number two national ranking in the latest NCAA-II coaches' poll. Ashland remained ranked number one, while Tampa moved to third, Texas Woman's College jumped from ninth to fourth, and Glenville St. slid from second to fifth. Drury is the only GLVC team in the top 25 this week.
 
The week's poll marks the 145th consecutive week the Lady Panthers have been ranked in the top 25, the longest such streak in the nation. It is also their 83rd straight week to be ranked in the top 10.
