Lady Panthers conclude road trip at Indianapolis 
The Drury Lady Panthers play their third road game in six days as they conclude their opening week of league play at Indianapolis on Saturday. Tipoff is 11:30 am (CST).
 
Drury is coming off a 72-69 loss at Lewis on Thursday, the team's first loss to a GLVC opponent since Feb. 17, 2022, which was also at Lewis. The defeat snapped a 32-game winning streak against league teams. The Lady Panthers are ranked sixth in NCAA-II, with a 6-1 overall record and are 1-1 in the GLVC.
 
Indianapolis is 5-2 and winners of five straight. The Greyhounds are also 3-0 in the conference after a 77-68 win at home over Southwest Baptist on Thursday.
 
Drury is led by Beth Matas Martin, averaging 16.7 points and shooting 42 percent from three-point range. Sophomore Reese Schaaf is putting in 12.7 points per contest.
 
Following Saturday's game, the Lady Panthers are back at home on Thur., Dec. 7 to host William Jewell at 7 pm in the O'Reilly Family Event Center.

The Greyhounds are in their second year being led by head coach Marc Mitchell, who spent four years as head coach of Division I St. Peter's, and won a NCAA-III National Championship in 2014 with Fairleigh Dickinson-Florham. Indianapolis has won five straight after two losses to start the year as they fell to Malone, 74-61, and number one ranked Ashland, 97-71. Elena Wells leads UIndy, averaging 17.3 points, and Liv Becker is putting in 16.6 points per game.
