Panthers travel to sixth-ranked Indianapolis
Drury hits the road on Thursday to take on sixth-ranked Indianapolis. Tipoff is 6:30 pm (CST) in Nicoson Hall.
 
The Greyhounds are 22-2, 14-2 in the Great Lakes Valley Conference, and moved up one spot in this week's NCAA-II coaches' poll to a number six national ranking. UIndy has won 16 straight games dating back to a Dec. 3 loss at home to Rockhurst.
 
Indianapolis is the highest ranked team Drury has played since they took on Bellarmine, ranked number one at the time, on Jan. 25, 2019. Thursday will be the second time the Panthers have played a top 25 team this year. Drury lost at 18th ranked Missouri-St. Louis on Dec. 1.
 
The Panthers are coming off a 69-58 win over an 18-win Missouri-St. Louis team on Saturday in the O'Reilly Family Event Center. Drury is 8-16 and 4-12 in the GLVC.
 
Logan Applegate leads Drury in scoring averaging 13.2 points. The freshman from Nevada, Missouri, is coming off a 24-point game on Saturday against UMSL. The Greyhounds are led by Jesse Bingham. The sophomore is averaging 15.9 points.
 
After Thursday night's game, the Panthers head to McKendree for a 3 pm game on Saturday in Lebanon, Illinois for their final road game of the regular season.

The all-time series between Drury and Indianapolis is tied at 9-9. The Greyhounds drew even winning at Drury earlier this year, 89-76, in Springfield on Jan. 7. UIndy has won six of the last seven head-to-head encounters with the Panthers lone win in that span coming in the 2019 GLVC Tournament when Drury defeated the Greyhounds 71-65. The Panthers have lost their last six games at Indianapolis. Drury's last win over the Greyhounds at UIndy was on Feb. 6, 2010, 84-73.
