LIBERTY, Mo.– Drury powered their way to a 42-10 win in a Great Lakes Valley Conference dual at William Jewell on Friday night in Liberty, Missouri. The 23rd ranked Panthers won twice by Major Decision, twice by Techincal Fall and twice by Fall.
 
Drury won the first seven match-ups. Caden Howard (125 pounds) and Peter Kuster (141) both won by forfeit. Brandon Borlinghaus won by Fall in 4:46 at 133 pounds over Nathan Wishne, then Deagan Fugitt picked up a Major Decision victory against Ethan Flaherty at 149 pounds.
 
Jon O'Connell blanked John Jenkins 8-0 in the 157-pound match for a Major Decision win, Will Kuster improved to 14-4 on the season at 165 pounds with a 16-0 win by Technical Fall in 4:46 over Jaxson McIntyre. Ethan Smith also won by Technical Fall with a 17-1 win over Dom Howlett in the 174-pound class.
 
BK Seago picked up Drury's last victory of the night with a win by Fall in 2:45 against Ian Lawson in the 197-pound match.
 
Friday's dual was originally scheduled for Jan. 22 but was postponed.
 
The Panthers are back on the mat when they host the GLVC Championships on Feb. 12 at the O'Reilly Family Event Center. Drury will take on Indianapolis and Maryville at the event that will feature all seven conference teams.
