Drury hosts Maryville for 'Pink Out' Night
The Drury Lady Panthers are home for the first time in two weeks as they host Maryville on Thursday at 5:45 pm in the O'Reilly Family Event Center.

Drury will wear pink uniforms on Thursday to honor those affected by breast cancer, and DU Athletics has teamed up with Insomnia Cookies to raise funds for the Breast Cancer Foundation of the Ozarks. Fans making a donation to the BCFO at Thursday's game will receive a cookie from Insomnia Cookies.

The Lady Panthers enter Thursday's game having won 17 straight and are 21-1 with a 14-0 mark in the Great Lakes Valley Conference. Drury is also ranked number two in NCAA-II and stayed at the nation's second-ranked spot for the fifth week in a row. Thursday's game is Drury's first contest since a 70-58 win at Missouri S&T on Feb. 2.

Maryville is 13-9 and 8-7 in the GLVC. The Saints are coming off of two wins last week, 72-57 over William Jewell on Saturday and 72-62 against Rockhurst on Feb. 2.

Maryville features the third-best offense in the GLVC, averaging 72.4 points per game, and they're third in three-pointers, putting in 7.2 per contest. The Lady Panthers lead the conference in scoring, averaging 82 points per game, and their defensive average of allowing 60.9 points also ranks first in the conference.Â

Drury continues the homestand on Saturday when they host Missouri-St. Louis at 1 pm at the O'Reilly Family Event Center.

Drury leads the all-time series against Maryville 24-3 and defeated the Saints earlier this season 74-56 on Dec. 3 in St. Louis. The Lady Panthers have won 17 straight against Maryville, with the Saints last win over Drury coming on Feb. 9, 2013, 54-53, in the O'Reilly Family Event Center.

Drury still number two in latest NCAA-II pollÂ
For the fifth week in a row, the Drury Lady Panthers are the number two ranked team in the nation at the NCAA-II level. The top six teams in the national poll stayed the same as Tampa (21-1) is third, Texas Woman's College (21-1) is ranked fourth, Glenville St. (20-2) is fifth and Grand Valley St. (20-2) is number six.

The week's poll marks the 147th consecutive week the Lady Panthers have been ranked in the top 25, the longest such streak in the nation. It is also their 85th straight week to be ranked in the top 10.
