SPRINGFIELD, Mo.— Drury ends the regular season this weekend with a four-game series at eighth-ranked Quincy. Game one of the series is Friday at 3 pm and is followed by a doubleheader on Saturday at noon, and the set concludes with a game on Sunday at noon.

The Panthers are 27-19, 17-11 in the Great Lakes Valley Conference and will try to snap a three-game slide. Last weekend, Drury won the first game of a four-game series against Lewis, 12-1, then fell in the next three. The Panthers enter the weekend in fifth place in the league standings.

Quincy is ranked eighth nationally in the collegiate baseball writers' poll and is ninth in the Collegiate Baseball Newspaper poll. The Hawks are 32-9 and are in first place in the GLVC with a 19-5 mark in the league. Quincy won three of four last weekend at Missouri-St. Louis, and defeated fourth-ranked Central Missouri 8-6 on Tuesday.

The Hawks lead the all-time series against the Panthers 24-21. The two teams did not play one another last year and Quincy won three of four against Drury in 2021. The Panthers are 8-12 all-time in Quincy's stadium.

Drury has played six games against ranked teams this season and is 2-4 in those contests.

While the Panthers play their final games of the regular season this weekend, the league schedule continues through May 7. Drury has a bye week next weekend and will look to stay in the GLVC's top eight to advance to the conference tournament May 11-14 in Marion, Illinois.
