Draven Wright won by Fall in Drury's intrasquad on Thursday
SPRINGFIELD, Mo.– Fans got their first look at the 2024-25 Drury wrestling squad as the team hosted their preseason intrasquad match in Weiser Gym on Thursday night. The Scarlet team defeated the Gray squad 35-16 as the Scarlet team won seven of the 10 match-ups.
Tai Koyama (184),
Joe Kuster (157), and
Draven Wright (141) both won by Fall for the Scarlet side. Nathan Wishne (141), and
Will Kuster (165) both won by Technical Fall, while
Jeremiah Halter (174) picked up an 18-6 Major Decision.
Kyshin Isringhausen started the night with a 10-7 win at 125 pounds.
The Gray team got wins from
Dylan Roth (133), and
Trevor Christian (149) by Technical Fall, and heavyweight
Jack Stoffel won by Fall to close out the night.
The Panthers open the regular season on Nov. 2 in the Friends University Open in Wichita, Kan.
