Panthers host the DoubleTree Thanksgiving Classic
The Drury Panthers host the DoubleTree Thanksgiving Classic on Tuesday and Wednesday at the O'Reilly Family Event Center. Drury will face Union (Tenn.) on Tuesday, then Central Missouri on Wednesday. Both tipoffs are at 7:45 pm.

The Panthers are 2-1 and are coming off an 81-54 win over Graceland on Nov. 21. Union is undefeated at 4-0 and Central Missouri is off to a 2-2 start.

The Panthers are 0-1 all-time against Union, with the only game played in the all-time series on Nov. 28, 2015 in Springfield that was a 75-54 win for the Bulldogs. Drury is 1-6 all-time against Central Missouri.

After this week's games, the Panthers open their conference schedule on Dec. 2 with a home game against Southwest Baptist at 7:45 pm.

About The Bulldogs
Union is 4-0 with wins over Lane, Tuskegee, Williams Baptist and Bethel (Tenn.). CJ Jackson leads Union, averaging 15.5 points, while Parker Applegate leads the team in rebounding with 6.8 boards per game.

Union is a member of the Gulf Coast Conference and went 14-15 last year with an 11-13 league record.

About The Mules
Central Missouri is 2-2 and has split two games against GLVC opponents. The Mules beat Maryville, 67-55, on Nov. 13 in Warrensburg, and they are coming off a loss at home to Quincy, 68-65, on Nov. 21.

Tim Jordan, Jr. leads Central Missouri in scoring, averaging 14.3 points, while Elijah Farr leads the team in rebounding, averaging 7.3.
