SPRINGFIELD, Mo.– Drury senior Will Kuster won by Technical Fall in the ninth and final round to give the Panthers a 22-18 win over Labette Community College in Weiser Gym in Springfield on Wednesday night.
 
The dual started with the 174-pound match-up, and Drury sophomore Jeremiah Halter gave the Panthers an early lead with his 8-7 win. Drury trailed 12-3 three rounds later, though, but started their rally with Kyshin Isringhausen's 9-4 win in the 133-pound class. Drury sophomore Nate Wishne (141) pinned his opponent in 45 seconds to tie the match at 12-12, then Trevor Christian put the Panthers back in front, 17-12, with a Technical Fall win at 149 pounds.
 
Trailing 18-17, the dual came down to the final round, and Will Kuster delivered a win by Technical Fall. The senior from Jefferson City built a 19-3 over Sam Duling, stopping the match-up at 5:29.
 
Drury competes again in the Viking Open, hosted by Carl Albert State, on Saturday, then will host the Drury Open on Nov. 16.
