Lady Panthers take on Quincy as homestand continues on Thursday
The Drury Lady Panthers play their second of three home games this week as they take on the Quincy Hawks on Thursday at 5:45 pm in the O'Reilly Family Event Center.
Drury is 4-2 and 1-0 in the Great Lakes Valley Conference after their 84-70 win over Southwest Baptist on Monday. Quincy is 5-2, 0-1 in the GLVC, and is coming off an 88-84 loss in double-overtime at Upper Iowa on Monday.
Thursday's match-up pits Drury women's basketball head coach
Kaci Bailey against her former team. Bailey led the Quincy program for two seasons before coming to Drury last year. The Lady Panthers faced the Hawks twice last season, winning both times as Drury won 81-56 at Quincy on Nov. 27, then won at home over the Hawks, 70-66, on Jan. 25.
Drury leads the all-time series against Quincy 26-9 and has won 14 straight against the Hawks dating back to Jan. 30, 2014.
Drury's homestand continues on Saturday. The Lady Panthers host Truman State for a 1 pm tipoff at the O'Reilly Family Event Center.
