Panthers look to bounce back at William Jewell
Drury will look to rebound from a loss at Rockhurst on Thursday as they take on William Jewell on Saturday afternoon in Liberty, Missouri.
 
The Panthers are 12-9 and 5-8 in the Great Lakes Valley Conference. Drury fell at Rockhurst 94-67 on Thursday after back-to-back wins entering the week.
 
William Jewell is 14-8, 8-6 in the GLVC and in fourth place in the conference. The Cardinals are coming off a 66-52 win at home over Southwest Baptist on Thursday and have won their last two.
 
Saturday's game is the first meeting between the two teams this season and Drury leads the all-time series, 44-36. The Panthers won the lone game against the Cardinals last year, 72-66 on Jan. 19, 2023, in Springfield.
 
Drury will look to get back to a defensive play that saw them hold opponents to fewer than 70 points in three of the previous four games. The Panthers allowed a season-high 94 points to Rockhurst on Thursday after limiting Southwest Baptist to 66 and Illinois Springfield to 59 in the previous two games.
 
Drury returns home after Saturday's game for a 7:45 pm contest on Thursday against Missouri-St. Louis in the O'Reilly Family Event Center.
