Lady Panthers host Truman State for Senior Day
The Drury Lady Panthers play their final game of the regular season on Saturday as they host Truman State on Saturday at 1 pm in the O'Reilly Family Event Center.
 
Saturday is Senior Day and, before the game, the program will honor their graduating players: Beth Matas Martin, Caitlynn Daniels, Andjela Kremenovic, and Quincy Erickson.
 
Drury is 22-5, 17-5 in the Great Lakes Valley Conference and is in second place in the league standings. The Lady Panthers are coming off a 79-62 win at home over Upper Iowa on Thursday in a game that saw Reese Schaaf set the program's single-game record with 24 rebounds, and Caitylnn Daniels scored 22 points while Anna Hitta had a career-high 21.
 
Truman State is 7-20 and 4-17 in the GLVC. The Bulldogs lost on Thursday, falling at Southwest Baptist 88-74. Truman State is in 13th place in the league standings and will be playing its final game of the 2023-24 season on Saturday at Drury.
 
Saturday's game ends the regular season and the Lady Panthers advance to the GLVC Tournament, March 7-10 in St. Charles, Missouri. The GLVC will announce the championship bracket and tournament schedule on Saturday night.

Truman State ranks second in the GLVC in free throw shooting, with a team percentage of .760.
 
The Bulldogs feature center Ellie Weltha, an All-GLVC selection for the last three seasons.
