Drury wraps up road trip at Missouri S&T
Drury concludes a stretch of four-straight road games with a Saturday game at Missouri S&T. Tipoff is 1 pm in Rolla, Missouri.

The Lady Panthers enter Saturday's game 10-3 with a 6-0 mark in the Great Lakes Valley Conference. Drury has won four straight and on Thursday defeated Lincoln 68-47 in Jefferson City.

Missouri S&T is 8-2 and 3-1 in the GLVC. The Miners have not played since Jan. 3 when they won at Truman State 74-72. S&T was idle on Thursday and their game last Saturday at William Jewell was postponed by a winter storm. The Miners have won three straight, and they are 7-1 at home.

Drury leads the all-time series against Missouri S&T 37-3 and has won 23 straight against the Miners. Missouri S&T's last win against the Lady Panthers came on Dec. 6, 2012, in a 66-63 win at Drury. The Lady Panthers won both games against the Miners last year with a 101-64 win over S&T on Jan. 13 at Drury and a 99-70 victory in Rolla on Feb. 22.

After Saturday's game, the Lady Panthers are back on their home court and will host McKendree on Thur., Jan. 16, at 5:45 pm in the O'Reilly Family Event Center.

Daniels passes another milestone
Drury guard Caitlynn Daniels surpassed another milestone as she grabbed the 500th rebound in her career in Thursday's game at Lincoln. The graduate student from Robins, Iowa, enters Saturday's game with 506 rebounds. Daniels also cracked the top 10 at Drury in career assists. She passed Annie Armstrong (2013-16) on Drury's all-time chart on Thursday and has 303 assists at Drury and 427 in her career.

Getting Defensive
Drury held Lincoln to 47 points on Thursday, a season-low by the Lady Panthers defense. Drury has
allowed 61 points or less in each of their last three games, with only 55 given up at William Jewell, 61 at Rockhurst, and Thursday's 47 points allowed. The Lady Panthers have also held their opponent to less than 35 percent shooting from the field in four straight games.

About the Miners
Missouri S&T is off to their best start to a season since 2011-12 as they have won eight of their first 10 games to start the season.

The Miners are outscoring their opponent by 18.4 points per game, a total that leads the GLVC. S&T ranks second in the GLVC in defensive field goal percentage at .354, and opponents are just .261 against them from three-point range. They are also second in the conference in turnover margin at +3.90.
