ROLLA, Mo.— 17
th ranked Missouri S&T pulled away from Drury in the second half and stayed unbeaten in the Great Lakes Valley Conference with a 90-74 win on Saturday in Rolla, Missouri.
The Panthers fell to 6-8 and 1-6 in the GLVC, while the Miners went to 11-1 and 5-0 in the conference.
Drury fought back from an 11-point deficit in the first half to pull within one, 39-38, with 1:16 before the intermission. Missouri S&T scored two quick baskets to go ahead 43-38 at halftime.
The Miners built on their lead in the second half, outscoring Drury 47-36 in the second 20 minutes.

Chris Foster missed Saturday's game with the flu. "I think our guys did a good job in the first half and really fought. We turned the ball over in the first half, but the turnovers in the second half really hurt."
The Panthers had 21 turnovers to Missouri S&T's 12 and the Miners converted that difference to a 25-14 advantage in points-off-turnovers.
Drury shot 49 percent, going 30 for 61 and they made 11 of their 21 three-point attempts. S&T was 56 percent from the floor, hitting 36 of 64 shots.
Zach Howell led the Panthers with 20 points and knocked down 5 of his 6 three-point attempts.
Lovell Williams had 16 points and eight assists to lead Missouri S&T. Andrew Young added 15 points for the Miners.
Drury plays again on Thursday for their first home game since Dec. 16 when they host McKendree at 7:45 pm in the O'Reilly Family Event Center.
