Drury home Saturday vs. Saints
The Drury Lady Panthers host the Maryville Saints on Saturday for a 1 pm tipoff in the O'Reilly Family Event Center.

Saturday's game will feature a reunion of former Lady Panthers from the 2014-24 era as part of the program's 25
th year anniversary. In addition, children 12-and-under can get a poster autographed by the team after the game.

Fans who bring a teddy bear to stuffed toy Saturday's game will also receive a free ticket voucher to a future Drury basketball game this season. The teddy bears will be thrown onto the court at halftime and then donated to the Dee Ann White Women's and Children's Hospital for use as comfort toys for those receiving treatment at the facility.

Drury is 11-4 overall and their 7-1 record in the Great Lakes Valley Conference has them in second place in the league standings. The Lady Panthers took down McKendree on Thursday, a team that entered the game 6-1 in the GLVC, 77-66.

Maryville is 8-9 and 6-3 in the conference. The Saints started their road trip with a 72-57 win at Missouri S&T on Thursday. Maryville enters Saturday's game, having won four straight.

Drury is 26-4 all-time against Maryville, but the two teams split the season series last year, with both games decided in the final seconds. The Lady Panthers won their home game with a 67-65 win on Jan. 11, 2024, as
Beth Matas Martin hit a basket with 3.3 seconds remaining. Maryville took the rematch, 77-75, in St. Louis on Feb. 24, as Saints guard Carsyn Fearday scored 40 points. The Lady Panthers had won 19 straight against Maryville until that loss in St. Louis.

Drury goes back on the road after Saturday's game as they travel to Indianapolis for a 4:30 pm (CST) game on Thursday.

Daniels' Doubles and climbs assist chart
Drury guard
Caitlynn Daniels has had a double-double and a triple-double in her last two games. The graduate student from Robins, Iowa, had 11 points and 12 assists in Drury's win over McKendree on Thursday and went for 10 points, 10 rebounds, and 11 assists on Jan. 11 at Missouri S&T. Her triple-double was only the fourth in team history.

Daniels' 12 assists on Thursday also moved to ninth place on Drury's all-time assist chart. She moved past Katie Pritchard's (2008-13) total of 317 and is 12 away from passing Hope Hunt (2000-05) for eighth on the leaderboard. Daniels enters Saturday's game with 326 assists at Drury and 450 overall in her college career.

After starting the year 1-6, Maryville has won seven of their last 10 games and carries a four-game winning streak into Saturday's game.Â
