Drury looks to take momentum on road to Indianapolis
The Drury Panthers look to take momentum from two home wins last week on the road as they travel to Indianapolis for a 6:30 pm (CST) game on Thursday in Indianapolis, Ind.
 
Drury is 8-8 and 3-6 in the Great Lakes Valley Conference. The Panthers picked up wins last week against McKendree, 84-70, on Thursday, and over Maryville, 85-71, on Saturday.
 
Indianapolis is 10-7 and 4-5 in the GLVC. The Greyhounds are coming off a 78-76 win in overtime at William Jewell on Saturday. Indianapolis has won seven of their last nine games since Dec. 11.
 
The Panthers are 9-11 all-time against the Greyhounds and lost year's match-up, 82-51, at Indianapolis on Dec. 2, 2023. Drury will be looking for their win over UIndy since March 7, 20219, when they won a GLVC Quarterfinal game over the Greyhounds, 71-65, in Edwardsville, Ill.
 
After Thursday's game, Drury concludes their two-game road trip at Illinois Springfield on Saturday with a 3 pm game in Springfield, Ill.

About the Greyhounds
Indianapolis is led by a new coach as Scott Heady took over the program before the start of the season. Heady served as the head coach for seven years at Marion, where he went 168-56, reached the NAIA Tournament seven times, and advanced to the national semifinals in 2019.
 
DaShawn Jackson leads the team is scoring and ranks 10th in the GLVC, averaging 15.8 points, while Brody Whitaker averages 14.9 points.
