Drury opens two-game homestand vs. Upper Iowa
The Drury Lady Panthers are back on their home court as they host Upper Iowa on Thursday at 5:45 pm in the O'Reilly Family Event Center.

Drury is 14-4, 10-1 in the Great Lakes Valley Conference and has won four straight games. The Lady Panthers go into Thursday's game in first place in the GLVC with a half-game lead over Lewis.

Upper Iowa is 8-9 and 5-6 in the conference. The Peacocks are coming off an 86-78 loss at home to William Jewell last Saturday.

Upper Iowa joined the GLVC last year and the 2023-24 season marked the first time the Lady Panthers played the Peacocks. Drury went 3-0 against Upper Iowa last season, winning 88-69 at Upper Iowa on Jan. 18, 79-62 in the O' on Feb. 29, and the Lady Panthers took an 88-82 decision in the GLVC Semifinals on March 9 in St. Charles, Mo.

After Thursday's game, the Lady Panthers host Lewis on Saturday in a showdown of the only two GLVC teams with only one league loss. Tipoff on Saturday is at 1 pm in the O'Reilly Family Event Center.

Hitt closing on 400 rebound club
Drury's Anna Hitt is 11 rebounds away from 400 boards in her career. The senior from Ozark, Missouri, enters Thursday's game with 389 rebounds and needs just two to pass Sara Bos (2006-09) for 20th all-time on Drury's career list, and three rebounds by Hitt would have her pass Hope Hunt (2000-05) for 19th on the chart.

Daniels moves to 7th in career assists at DU
Lady Panthers guard Caitlynn Daniels moved up seventh in career assists at Drury last week. Daniels passed Paige Robinson (2018-22) on the all-time last on Saturday and enters Saturday's game with 347 assists at Drury. She needs 36 more to pass Payton Richards (2017-22) for sixth all-time at Drury. Daniels has 471 assists in her career adding her two seasons at Alabama-Birmingham.
