Drury returns to road to take on Lincoln
Drury plays their fourth straight road game on Thursday when they travel to Lincoln for a 7:30 pm game in Jefferson City, Missouri.

The Panthers are 6-6 and 1-4 in the Great Lakes Valley Conference. Drury is coming off a loss on Saturday at Rockhurst, 72-59.

The Blue Tigers are 10-3, 2-3 in the GLVC, and have won four straight. Lincoln won at Quincy, 70-69, last Friday and had their game against Truman State postponed by last weekend's winter storm.

Thursday's game is the first meeting between the two teams since Nov. 25, 2017, when the Panthers won 100-90 at home. Drury leads the all-time series against Lincoln 15-6. This is Lincoln's first season in the GLVC, as they joined the league from the MIAA. Both Drury and Lincoln were in the same league from 2000 to 2005, when both were members of the Heartland Conference.

After Thursday's game, Drury's road trip continues when they travel to Missouri S&T for a 3 pm game on Saturday in Rolla.

Applegate closing in on Drury's Top 50 scorers
Drury guard Logan Applegate enters Thursday's game with 894 career points and needs just six more 900. He is 11 points away from matching Lawrence Washington (1977-79) for 50th place on Drury's all-time scoring list. Washington scored 905 points in his career. Logan Bond (1997-2000) is 49th all-time in scoring with 907 career points.

Applegate needs 106 points to reach 1,000 in his career. The junior from Nevada, Missouri, would the 45th player in team history to reach the milestone.
